1. About EduTribe

EduTribe is a school discovery and review platform for Indian parents and guardians. It aggregates publicly available school information, enables parents to submit reviews and enquiries, and allows schools to manage their listings. EduTribe does not own, operate, or endorse any school listed on the Platform. We are an independent information service.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using EduTribe, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. School managers who claim a listing confirm that they are authorised representatives of the respective institution.

3. User Accounts

• You may create an account using Google Sign-In or phone OTP. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and keep it current.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@edutribe.in if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User-Generated Content

EduTribe allows users to submit reviews, ratings, and enquiries. By submitting content, you:

• Confirm that the content is based on your genuine, first-hand experience.
• Grant EduTribe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform.
• Agree not to post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or in violation of any law.
• Agree not to post personal information about school staff, students, or third parties without their consent.
• Acknowledge that EduTribe may moderate, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or our community standards, at our sole discretion.

EduTribe does not verify the accuracy of user reviews. Reviews represent the opinions of individual users and do not constitute endorsement by EduTribe.

5. School Listings & Claims

• School information on EduTribe is sourced from publicly available data and enriched by our team. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee it.
• Schools may claim their listing to manage information. By claiming a listing, the representative warrants they are an authorised official of that school.
• School managers are responsible for keeping their school's information accurate and up to date.
• EduTribe reserves the right to reject or revoke a claim if it determines the claimant is not a legitimate representative.

6. Events

• Events listed on EduTribe are published by EduTribe or verified school managers. EduTribe does not organise or manage events directly unless stated.
• By registering interest for an event, you consent to your contact details being shared with the event organiser.
• EduTribe is not liable for the conduct, cancellation, quality, or outcome of any event listed on the Platform.
• External registration links direct you to third-party websites. EduTribe is not responsible for those websites or transactions made on them.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, fabricated, or commercially motivated reviews.
• Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm any individual or institution.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without prior written consent from EduTribe.
• Use the Platform for spam, phishing, or any unlawful purpose.
• Impersonate any person, school, or organisation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

The EduTribe name, logo, design, and all original content (excluding user-generated content and publicly sourced school data) are the intellectual property of EduTribe and protected under applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. EduTribe does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. School information, fees, and reviews may be outdated or inaccurate — always verify directly with the school.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EduTribe and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to reliance on school information, decisions made based on reviews, or issues arising from events listed on the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees one thousand).

11. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (school websites, social media profiles, event pages). These links are provided for convenience only. EduTribe does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites. Visiting them is at your own risk.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, EduTribe, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings or by contacting us.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concerns before initiating formal proceedings.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent in-platform notice. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
