School Intelligence Subscription Agreement

This School Intelligence Subscription Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between EduTribe Technologies Private Limited ("EduTribe" or "Platform"), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India — and the school, trust, or society named on the subscription order form ("School" or "Subscriber").

All fees are exclusive of GST (currently 18%). Payment is due within 15 days of invoice date.
2. What EduTribe Provides
School Analytics Dashboard — aggregated Happiness Check scores across five dimensions (Belonging, Voice, Safety, Stimulation, Security), platform benchmark comparison, monthly trend chart, class-group breakdown, and bully flag count.
Wellbeing Monitored Badge — a publicly visible badge on the school's EduTribe listing, displayed when the school's check-in link receives ≥5 parent submissions in the preceding 30 days.
Shareable Parent Check-in Link — a unique URL the school may distribute to its parent community via any channel.
Dashboard User Access — up to 2 named administrator accounts (Intelligence plan) or 5 accounts (Growth plan).
Growth plan additionally includes multi-campus dashboard (up to 5 campuses), quarterly wellbeing PDF, admissions enquiry pipeline, priority search placement, and a dedicated account manager.
3. Data Privacy — Core Commitments
These commitments are non-negotiable
Individual responses are never shared with schools. The school receives only anonymous, aggregated data — never the identity of any parent or their individual answers.
Minimum aggregation threshold. Dimension-level scores are only shown when at least 5 submissions exist for that dimension, preventing reverse-identification of individuals.
DPDP Act 2023 compliance. EduTribe acts as the Data Fiduciary for parent-submitted data. The school receives no personal data and is not a Data Fiduciary under this Agreement.
EduTribe will never sell individual parent data to any third party, advertiser, or data broker.
4. School Obligations
- 4.1Honest promotion. Share the check-in link without coercing, incentivising, or directing parents to submit any particular score. Manipulation is grounds for immediate termination.
- 4.2No identification attempts. Do not attempt to identify the author of any individual submission by any means.
- 4.3Accurate profile. Keep the school's EduTribe listing information reasonably up to date.
- 4.4Authorised use. Dashboard credentials are for internal management only — do not sublicense or share access externally.
5. Term and Cancellation
Term. This Agreement auto-renews each billing cycle until cancelled.
Cancellation by school. Provide written notice to hello@edutribe.in at least 15 days before the next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. No refunds for partial periods or annual plans.
Termination by EduTribe. EduTribe may terminate immediately if the school attempts to identify individual respondents, manipulates scores, fails to pay for 60+ days, or violates applicable law.
Effect of termination. Dashboard access and the Wellbeing Monitored badge are removed within 24 hours. The school's basic listing remains on the platform unless separately requested for removal.
6. Intellectual Property
All platform software, algorithms, UI, datasets, and trademarks remain the sole property of EduTribe Technologies Private Limited. This Agreement grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the platform during the subscription term.
School-submitted content (reviews, photos) remains the school's property, with a licence to EduTribe to display it while the school has an active listing.
7. Limitation of Liability
No warranty on scores. Happiness Check scores reflect parent perceptions and are subject to sampling limitations. EduTribe is not responsible for decisions made based on these scores.
Liability cap. EduTribe's total liability shall not exceed fees paid by the school in the 3 months preceding the claim. EduTribe is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Disputes unresolved within 30 days of good-faith negotiation shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed mutually, proceedings in Bengaluru in English. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding.
