· Bengaluru2d agoPhysicsWallah is quite budget-friendly compared to the others and the online-offline hybrid model is working wonders for my nephew. He gets to attend live classes and then clarifies concepts on the app later. It’s very convenient if you want to avoid Bangalore's traffic during peak hours.

· Bengaluru1d agoHas anyone looked into the integrated programs for these coaching centers? I am worried about the pressure of managing both PU college and JEE prep simultaneously. Any feedback on how the kids are coping with the workload would be very helpful!

· Bengaluru1d agoMy daughter is in 11th grade and we opted for BASE in Basavanagudi. Honestly, the faculty is very experienced and they track the student's progress quite strictly, which I appreciate. However, the commute is a major headache in Bangalore traffic, so consider the distance before finalizing because the kids get very exhausted after 4 hours of coaching.

· Bengaluru1d agoWe tried PhysicsWallah for my son last year. It is much more affordable than the big names, but you need to be sure your child has the self-discipline to sit through the online classes. It didn't work for us because he kept getting distracted, so we moved him back to a physical classroom setup at Allen.

· Bengaluru15h agoHas anyone here considered a home tutor instead? We are quite worried about the coaching center burnout for our daughter. We feel she might benefit more from one-on-one attention rather than sitting in a hall with 100 other students.

· Bengaluru8h agoAllen is very rigorous and their testing pattern is very close to the actual JEE/NEET exams. My son has been going there since Grade 11 and while the pressure is immense, the discipline they inculcate is unmatched. Just be prepared for him to have very little free time on weekends.

· Bengaluru3h agoWe tried BASE for our son last year, but eventually moved him to a smaller, local coaching centre in Indiranagar. He felt lost in the big batches at the major institutes and couldn't keep up with the fast pace. It really depends on your child's current grasping speed, so maybe ask for a demo class first?

· Bengaluru2h agoMy daughter is currently in the second year of the two-year program at Aakash in Jayanagar. Honestly, the study material is top-notch, but the crowd is huge so your child needs to be proactive in asking doubts. If your child is self-motivated, it works well, but don't expect too much personalized hand-holding from the teachers.
