Why is Kumaran's such a popular choice?

Hi everyone, I keep hearing so much about Kumaran's school. It seems to be the most sought-after option for many parents in our area. For those whose kids go there or who have looked into it, what makes it stand out so much compared to other schools? I'm trying to understand the hype. Thanks!

I have seen so many parents running after Kumaran's, but personally, I felt the commute was too much. The hype is mostly due to their consistent board results, but do check the distance from your home before deciding.

We actually looked into Kumaran's last year but decided against it because the teacher-student ratio seemed a bit too high for our liking. Have you checked out the new international school nearby instead? I feel like smaller classes might be better if you want more personal attention for your child.

It's all about the discipline and the peer group there. Most parents in our circle send their kids to Kumaran's, so the social environment is quite good. Are you looking at the ICSE or CBSE branch?

Honestly, for me, it was the location and the extracurricular clubs. Most other schools in this area don't have a proper cricket coaching facility on campus. It saves me so much time in traffic since I don't have to drive him to a separate academy after class.

It is all about the discipline and the strong focus on STEM, honestly. My son is in Grade 4 there, and the way they handle the coaching for competitive exams from such a young age is unmatched. It feels a bit stressful at times, but you see the results when they start performing well in Olympiads. Just be prepared for a lot of homework every single day!

Hi, my son is in Grade 4 at Kumaran's and honestly, the biggest draw is their focus on holistic development. It is not just about academics; they have amazing extracurriculars and the teachers are very approachable. If you want a school that balances sports and studies well, this is it.

Honestly, the school is quite old-school and traditional. If you prefer a modern, international curriculum, you might find it a bit rigid. My daughter has been there for two years and she loves the routine, though!

The admission process is the hardest part! It is popular because they maintain high standards year after year. I would suggest you try to visit during a working day to see how the teachers interact with the children.
