· Bengaluru2d agoWe actually left Vidyashilp six months ago. The biggest issue for us was the lack of individual attention in the classroom, as the teacher-student ratio seemed to be stretching. If you are looking for a move, definitely check out some of the newer IB schools in North Bangalore; they seem more personalized.

· Bengaluru2d agoI have seen a lot of chatter about this on the WhatsApp groups too. Is it the fees or the curriculum structure that is bothering you? My son is in Grade 7 and we haven't faced issues yet, but I am worried about the upcoming board years.

· Bengaluru2d agoHonestly, we moved our daughter out last year. While the campus is great, the academic pressure in the higher grades became a bit too much for her to handle without constant tuitions. We shifted to a school that focuses more on practical learning, and she seems much happier now.

· Bengaluru2d agoHi, we actually moved our daughter to a different board last year after being at Vidyashilp for six years. While the environment is great, I felt the academics were becoming a bit too relaxed for our needs as she reaches higher grades. If you are looking for more structured learning, you might want to check out some of the newer IB or Cambridge schools nearby before deciding.

· Bengaluru2d agoMoving schools is a huge decision, especially midway through the academic year. We stayed back because the commute to any other good school is just too much for our kids. Are you finding that the quality of teachers has dropped, or is it more about the curriculum changes?

· Bengaluru1d agoSame here, we are also considering other options for next academic year. Do you think the management changes are the reason behind this trend?

· Bengaluru1d agoStick it out if you can. Every school has its phase, and changing schools mid-way can be very disruptive for the child's social circle.

· Bengaluru14h agoI have seen this talk on the parent group too, but honestly, my son is currently in Grade 8 and we are quite happy. The project-based learning approach is what we chose the school for, and he really enjoys the campus activities. Have you spoken to the school authorities about your specific concerns? Sometimes a direct conversation clears up the rumors.
