Is Chrysalis High a good choice?

Hi everyone, I am looking for some honest feedback about Chrysalis High. I am considering it for my child and would love to hear from parents who have kids studying there. How has your experience been with the academics and the overall school environment so far? Would really appreciate any insights you can share.

Honestly, it is a decent school if you want a holistic environment. However, do check the student-to-teacher ratio for the higher grades; it can get a bit crowded.

Hi, my daughter is in Grade 4 at their Whitefield branch. Academically it’s quite solid, but the extracurriculars are where they really shine. My only concern is that the transport department can be a bit disorganized during the monsoon season, so keep that in mind if you rely on the school bus.

Is this for the ICSE or CBSE board? We shifted my son to Chrysalis last year and the transition was very smooth. The teachers are very approachable and responsive to emails, which is a big relief.

My son has been there for two years now. Academics are rigorous, so be prepared for a fair amount of homework, but he has definitely gained a lot of confidence in public speaking. Definitely a good choice if you are looking for a disciplined environment.

It’s a decent school, but quite commercialized now. My nephew is there and the fees keep increasing every year, so keep that in mind.

We moved our son to Chrysalis last year. Honestly, the teachers are very approachable and patient, which was our main concern after his previous school. The transition was smooth, but be prepared for a decent amount of homework. Are you looking at the ICSE or CBSE board there?

I would suggest you try visiting the campus personally during school hours. I have seen that the curriculum is very balanced, but a lot depends on which grade you are applying for. My nephew is there and he seems quite happy with the math faculty.

Hi, my daughter is in Grade 4 at their Whitefield branch. Academically they are quite strong and focus a lot on extra-curriculars like skating and swimming, which I really like. However, the school transport system can be a bit of a headache with delays sometimes. If you live nearby, it’s a good choice, but do check the bus route first if you are planning to opt for that.
