Hi everyone! Just wanted to check which areas you are all considering for renting or buying near the school? We are currently scouting for options and wanted to see what others are choosing for easy commutes. Any recommendations or thoughts on the best neighborhoods nearby would be super helpful!

We are looking at apartments in Sector 42. It is close enough to walk to school on nice days and the neighborhood is very family-oriented with lots of other kids from our school living there.

Are you looking for gated communities or standalone houses? We preferred a standalone house in the adjacent lane for more space, but the lack of a play area is a bit of a challenge. Let me know if you want the contact for our broker, he handles many properties near the school.

Honestly, don’t look too far. Traffic near the main junction gets terrible by 7:30 AM. We stay in the apartments just opposite the school gate and it saves us so much stress in the mornings. It’s worth paying a premium for the location, trust me.

I suggest you try looking at the residential blocks near the East Gate. My son is in Grade 4 and we’ve been here for three years—the commute is hardly 10 minutes even on busy days. Just keep in mind that the rent has increased quite a bit recently, so negotiate well!

We are actually considering moving closer too! Following this thread to see what others say. Has anyone looked at the new high-rises near the metro station? We were wondering if the distance would be manageable.

Hi, we shifted to Green Meadows last year specifically for the school bus connectivity. It is a bit pricey, but the commute is barely 10 minutes, which saves my daughter so much energy after a long day. If you are looking for something more budget-friendly, try the societies near the West Gate, but do check the traffic situation during peak hours first!

Be careful with the area near the main highway! I have seen many parents move there for the lower rent, but the noise and the morning school traffic become a nightmare very quickly. We decided to stick to the residential blocks behind the campus; it is much quieter and safer for the children to cycle around in the evenings.

Hi! We shifted to Green Meadows last year specifically for the school bus route. It’s barely a 15-minute drive, which is a huge blessing given the morning traffic. Do check out the society complexes there; they are very family-friendly and many school kids live in our building.
