Hi everyone, I am considering schools for my child and have been looking into NPS KR Puram. It seems like a great option with a nice 6-acre campus. Does anyone here have their kids studying there? Would love to hear your honest feedback on the academics and overall school environment before I start the admission process.

We actually opted out after the first round of interviews. While the infrastructure is top-notch, I felt the environment was quite 'pressure-cooker' style even for primary classes. If your child enjoys creative pursuits, you might want to look at schools with a slightly more holistic approach.

Hi, my daughter is in Grade 4 there. Academically it is very rigorous, so be prepared for a decent amount of homework and tests from the get-go. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained, but don't expect much emphasis on sports or extra-curriculars compared to the ICSE board focus.

Good choice. NPS brand value is solid and the KR Puram branch is catching up fast. Just keep in mind that communication from the school administration can be a bit slow at times, so you have to be proactive if you need any info.

Hi, my daughter is in Grade 4 at NPS KR Puram. The academics are definitely rigorous and the pace is quite fast compared to other boards, so be prepared for a good amount of homework. The 6-acre campus is a big plus because they actually have space for sports, which is rare in this area, but do keep in mind that the commute can be a nightmare if you stay far away.

I have seen mixed reviews about the management lately. While the teachers are very qualified, I feel the school is getting a bit too crowded now. Before you finalize, just check if their current transport routes align with your area, as that is the biggest headache for most parents I know.

My son is in Grade 6 at NPS KR Puram. Honestly, the teachers are very experienced and the discipline is excellent, which is exactly what we wanted. It’s a no-nonsense school, but just make sure your child can cope with the fast pace.

Great choice! My nephew studies there and he is really enjoying the extracurriculars. Just a heads up, the admission process is very competitive, so make sure you keep your paperwork ready well in advance.

Is anyone here currently going through the admission process for LKG? I've heard the selection process is very competitive and they prioritize kids who live in the immediate vicinity.
