Hi everyone, I am considering Sri Chaitanya School for my child. Has anyone had any experience with them recently? Would love to hear your honest feedback regarding the academics and overall environment there. Thanks!

We have had a good experience so far. The discipline is excellent and they conduct regular tests, which really helps in tracking the child’s progress week by week. Just ensure you stay involved as a parent because they do expect a lot of home support.

Hi, my son is in Grade 6 at the Sri Chaitanya branch near HSR Layout. Honestly, it is very academics-heavy and they focus a lot on IIT foundation materials from an early age, which is great if you want to push them, but the pressure can be a lot. If you are looking for a balanced school with sports and extracurriculars, you might find it a bit lacking there.

Has anyone noticed the teacher turnover rate there recently? I’ve heard from a few neighbors that faculty changes quite often, which is my main concern before shifting my child.

Avoid if you want a holistic education. It is essentially a coaching center disguised as a school. My nephew studies there and he barely gets any time to play in the evenings because of the endless 'worksheets'.

Frankly, I moved my son out of Sri Chaitanya after one year. They focus purely on rote learning and entrance exam prep, with very little attention given to sports or extracurricular activities. If your goal is just top marks, it's fine, but I felt my son was getting burnt out.

I would suggest you try to visit the campus during school hours instead of just meeting the counselor. I have seen that the experience varies wildly depending on which specific branch you choose, so check the teacher turnover rate in that particular building before paying the fee.

Hi, my daughter is in Grade 4 at their branch near HSR. Academics are definitely strong and they finish the syllabus well in advance, but be prepared for a very heavy homework load. It’s a very competitive environment, so make sure your child is okay with that kind of pressure before you enroll.

Too much homework, beta. We shifted our daughter out after one year because she barely had time to play.
