Anyone have feedback on Sharanya Narayani International School (SNIS)?

I am considering SNIS for my child and wanted to know if any parents here have experience with them. Since it is an IB continuum school with a massive campus, I am curious about the actual academic environment and boarding life there. Would love to hear your honest thoughts or reviews if your kids study there.

Don't just go by the brochure. I strongly suggest you try to visit during a working day rather than an open house so you can see how the teachers actually interact with the students in the hallways. It makes a big difference.

I went for a campus tour last month. The infrastructure is definitely top-tier, but I felt the fee structure is a bit steep compared to some other IB schools in Whitefield. Are you planning on opting for the weekly boarding or full boarding? That makes a big difference in how the kids adjust.

I have seen a lot of kids thrive there because of the sports facilities. The swimming pool and football grounds are the best I have seen in any Bangalore school. Just ensure you check their teacher turnover rate for your child’s specific grade before you sign the cheque.

Hi, my daughter is in Grade 7 at SNIS and honestly, the campus is beautiful but it is quite far from the city center. The academics are very structured due to the IB curriculum, but do keep in mind that the sports facilities are the main highlight there. My daughter loves the boarding life, though the initial adjustment period took a good month for her to settle in with the hostel routine.

We looked at SNIS last year for our son. While the infrastructure is top-notch, we felt the location is a bit far from the main city if you are considering day boarding. How far do you live?

Hi, my daughter is in Grade 7 at SNIS and honestly, the campus is beautiful but the academics are quite rigorous. If your child is good at self-study, the IB curriculum works wonders, but keep in mind that the hostel life is very structured. They have a tight schedule, so make sure your kid is ready for that level of discipline.

My nephew is a boarder at SNIS. He is very happy there and the food quality is decent compared to other boarding schools we visited. The pastoral care is quite active, which gave us a lot of peace of mind.

We moved our son to SNIS last year after a bad experience with a state board school. The teachers are very approachable and there is a lot of focus on holistic development rather than just rote learning. It is a peaceful environment away from the city traffic, which I personally find worth the commute.
