· Bengaluru2d agoMy son struggled for a long time until I started using the 'Chali' app alongside his lessons. Honestly, hiring a private tutor who comes home is best if your schedule allows it, as they focus entirely on the child's pace.

· Bengaluru2d agoHave you checked with your child's school? Many of the private schools here offer after-school Kannada enrichment programs for non-native speakers. It's usually more convenient than traveling to an external center.

· Bengaluru2d agoAre you looking for formal reading/writing or just spoken Kannada? If it's just for speaking, there are some great YouTube channels for kids that use cartoons to teach basic sentences. It helped my nephew a lot before he started formal classes.

· Bengaluru1d agoTry searching for tutors on UrbanPro, that’s where I found someone for my son last year. Make sure you ask for a trial session first to see if their teaching style matches your child's pace, as some teachers can be a bit strict with the grammar rules.

· Bengaluru21h agoHi, my daughter attends the weekend classes at Kannada Grahana in HSR Layout and they are quite good with basics. They focus a lot on conversational Kannada, which helps kids build confidence quickly. I suggest you check their website for the next batch schedule.

· Bengaluru15h agoHi, for my daughter, I found 'Kannada Kali' near Indiranagar very helpful. They use a lot of fun activities and stories, which made it easier for her to pick up conversational Kannada rather than just rote learning from books. Let me know if you want the contact number.

· Bengaluru15h agoI suggest you try the weekend classes at the Kannada Development Authority. They are very affordable and the teachers are extremely patient with beginners. My neighbor's kids go there and their progress has been quite good.

· Bengaluru11h agoIs your child in a CBSE or ICSE school? Many schools now have after-school clubs for regional languages, so check with your school office first as it’s much more convenient than traveling to a center.
