· Bengaluru2d agoI have seen my nephew getting very irritable due to the extended screen time. We bought a dedicated laptop stand to ensure his posture is correct, which helped a little. Are you also finding it difficult to keep them focused during the late afternoon sessions?

· Bengaluru2d agoIs it really for all subjects? That's too much! My kid's school has stopped all online classes after the annual exams, keeping only a few bridge course modules. You should definitely check if this is mandatory for everyone or just a suggestion.

· Bengaluru1d agoIt is the same situation in our school too. Honestly, I am more worried about their eyesight than their studies right now. I make sure my son takes a 10-minute break after every session to look at distant objects as suggested by our pediatrician.

· Bengaluru1d agoThat sounds exhausting. My son is in Grade 9 and they only have online sessions for Math and Science, while other subjects are self-study. It's a much better balance. You might want to suggest a hybrid approach to your class teacher.

· Bengaluru1d agoHi, same here. Our school has declared online classes for all grades till May end. My daughter in Grade 6 is struggling with headaches because of the constant screen time, so we’ve started using blue-light glasses. Have you tried asking your school if they can reduce the synchronous hours?
