Hi everyone, I’ve been looking into Prarthana World School in Bangalore. It seems to have a good reputation for being student-friendly and focusing on holistic development. Has anyone here enrolled their child there? I would love to hear some honest feedback from current parents regarding the academic environment and overall experience before I finalize my decision.

Hi, my daughter is in Grade 4 at Prarthana. Honestly, they really do focus on holistic development as they claim—the sports and arts curriculum is quite robust compared to other schools in that area. However, keep in mind that the academic workload picks up significantly from Grade 6 onwards, so if your child is sensitive to pressure, just be aware of that.

I was also looking at Prarthana last year but decided against it because the commute was too much for us. Have you checked the transport routes yet? The school itself has a great reputation, but the travel time for kids living in areas like Whitefield can be quite exhausting.

Avoid if you are looking for a strictly traditional, exam-focused board approach. It's a bit more modern. We shifted our son there for the same reason and he seems much happier now.

Prarthana is excellent if your child is interested in extra-curriculars. They encourage participation in inter-school fests a lot, which helped my niece gain so much confidence. Just talk to a few parents in the parking lot during pickup time; they will give you the most honest feedback!

My son joined last academic year. Academics are decent, but the teacher-to-student ratio is a bit high in the primary sections. You might want to visit the campus during a working day rather than on an open house day to get a real feel of the classroom environment.
