· Bengaluru2d agoExactly my thought! My daughter struggled for six months in a top-tier coaching center because the batch size was too large for her to ask doubts. We finally switched to a smaller local tutor, and her confidence has improved drastically. It is not about the brand name, but the attention they get.

· Bengaluru2d agoVery sensible post. My nephew is currently in 10th and we made the mistake of picking a center just because his friend was going there. Now he is lagging behind because his learning pace doesn't match the rest of the group. Really wish we had listened to him earlier.

· Bengaluru2d agoTrue advice. My experience is that you should always ask for a demo class before paying the full annual fees. Most institutes show you their 'toppers' room, but sit in on a regular session to see if the teacher is actually engaging with the average students as well.

· Bengaluru22h agoI totally agree. Parents often push for the biggest names just to keep up with society, but they don't realize how much stress it puts on the child. My son barely had time to eat, let alone study, when he was in those high-pressure centers. Choose wisely, friends.

· Bengaluru3h agoWhat would you suggest for a child who is introverted and hesitant to ask questions in a group setting? Should we look for home tuitions or small group classes?
