Feedback on Gopalan International School in Hoodi?

I have a different take—I moved my son out after 8th grade because I felt the curriculum was getting too rigid. The teachers are helpful, but it depends a lot on the specific subject coordinator. Have you looked at the other options nearby like Vydehi or NPS Whitefield just for comparison?

Honestly, it's a decent neighborhood school. The crowd is good and the management is fairly responsive to parent emails, which is rare these days. It’s definitely better than some of the newer schools cropping up in the Hoodi-KR Puram stretch.

We considered it, but honestly, the fee hike every year was a major concern for us. The infrastructure is solid, but you should also ask around about the teacher turnover rate in the high school section before finalizing.

My elder one just finished 12th from Gopalan and I found their support during the board exams quite commendable. They conduct enough mock tests which definitely helped with the pressure. Are you looking to continue there for ISC or shifting to a different board for the plus-two level?

Hi, my daughter is currently in 8th grade at GIS. Academically it’s quite balanced, but frankly, the sports facilities are the main highlight there. If your child is into athletics or football, they will really enjoy it, but do check the current bus routes as Hoodi traffic can be quite a nightmare in the mornings.
