· Bengaluru2d agoI don't think it's just about the number of students, it's about the teacher's involvement. My niece is in a class of 50 but the teacher is so proactive that she manages to rotate the kids for individual attention throughout the week. Maybe check if your school has teacher assistants for the lower grades?

· Bengaluru2d agoSame struggle here. I’ve started sending my son for tuitions specifically for Math because the classroom teaching is too fast-paced for him to grasp everything.

· Bengaluru2d agoIt is a common issue everywhere now. I suggest you try volunteering for school activities if you have the time; it gives you a much better insight into how the teachers handle the class dynamic.

· Bengaluru15h agoHonestly, this is the main reason we moved my son to a smaller ICSE board school. In the previous big school, he was just a roll number in a class of 45, and the teacher barely had time to finish the syllabus, let alone address his doubts. If you feel like your child is falling behind, don't wait for the school to improve; personal attention is very hard to come by in these big setups.

· Bengaluru13h agoMy daughter is in Baldwin and I won't lie, it is crowded. However, I have seen that the teachers are quite responsive if you email them directly for extra help. Have you tried setting up a 1-on-1 meeting with the class teacher after school hours? It makes a huge difference.
