We have just enrolled our child in Grade 1 at Freedom International School based on our own research and some recommendations. For other parents who have kids there, how has your experience been so far? Would love to hear your thoughts or any tips you might have for us as we start this journey.

We just moved our kid to Freedom this year too. So far, the transition has been smooth, but I personally feel the canteen options could be a bit healthier. Have you checked if they allow home-cooked lunch boxes for Grade 1?

Hi there! My niece studies there. The school is excellent with communication, but the commute can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours. If you are staying far away, I suggest you plan your pickup and drop-off times with a 20-minute buffer.

I have my son in the same grade. The teachers are very approachable, which is a big relief. Just make sure you join the parent WhatsApp group early on, as that is where most of the last-minute updates and project details get shared by the class representatives.

Hi, welcome to the school! My daughter is currently in Grade 2 there. Honestly, the curriculum is quite balanced, but do keep an eye on the heavy project work in the second term. My suggestion is to start helping them build a schedule for their extracurriculars early on, as the school puts a lot of emphasis on holistic development.

Great choice! Freedom is known for its academic rigour. My tip would be to not stress too much about the initial assessments; just let your child settle into the routine first. It takes a few weeks, but they start loving the campus life soon enough.
