Don't wait for any unofficial updates. Last year also, there was a similar confusion and many kids were sent home for not wearing the proper blazer. It is always safer to follow the government guidelines until the school principal puts out a signed letter.

Hi, I spoke to the class teacher yesterday regarding this. She mentioned that the management is still waiting for a circular from the DOE, so please stick to the full uniform for now. Better to follow the current rules than get a lecture from the warden at the gate, no?

My son goes to DPS and they haven't sent anything yet. Usually, our school is quite strict about these things, so I wouldn't risk it until a formal notice comes on the app.
