Thoughts on Somali Das for English tuition?

I actually sent my son to her last year. She’s good for building basics, but I felt she focuses too much on rote learning rather than creative writing. Depends on what your child needs right now, I guess.

We have had a very positive experience with Somali. She is patient and explains complex poetry really well, which was exactly what my child needed to get confident before the board exams. Highly recommended.

Honestly, she is very popular but her batches are always full. Make sure you check if she still has a slot for your child’s grade before you get your hopes up.

Is she still taking classes at her home in Indiranagar? I am looking for a tutor for my Class 8 son who is struggling with literature analysis.

Hi, my daughter has been attending Somali ma’am’s classes for the past six months. She is very strict with grammar and vocabulary, which I like, but be prepared that she gives a lot of homework. My daughter's marks in English have definitely improved, but she does complain about the workload sometimes!
