· Bengaluru2d agoI totally agree with you. My daughter was pressured to take JEE coaching in 10th grade, but she hated it and her grades dropped. We finally let her shift to Psychology and she is doing so much better now. It’s all about finding that spark, not just chasing a degree.

· Bengaluru2d agoVery well said. But how do you handle the pressure from relatives? Every family gathering turns into an interrogation about my son's college applications.

· Bengaluru23h agoIt's easy to say, but hard to ignore the herd mentality when your child’s peers are all joining elite coaching centers. We are trying to keep a balance, but it is a daily struggle.

· Bengaluru17h agoExactly my thought. I suggest you try looking into liberal arts colleges that focus on skill-based learning rather than just the label of the university. My nephew went that route and got a better job than most of his engineering-grad friends.
