· Bengaluru2d agoWhich grade is your child in? My neighbor had the same issue and she started using those online interactive platforms like Cuemath. It is much better than traditional tutoring because it's gamified and kids don't get bored as easily.

· Bengaluru2d agoWe went through three tutors before finding one who actually explains the 'why' instead of just the 'how.' Sometimes the school method is too rigid; try finding a college student who can explain things with real-life examples. It made all the difference for us.

· Bengaluru1d agoTry Kumon if you haven't yet. My son was also struggling, and the constant repetitive practice there actually helped him get over his fear of numbers. It takes time, but it works.

· Bengaluru1d agoThis is exactly what we faced last year. Honestly, school teachers are too busy finishing the syllabus to focus on individual basics. We had to switch our tutor to someone who focuses specifically on Vedic Math methods, and it really helped my daughter build confidence. Don't worry, sometimes it's just about finding the right teaching style that clicks.

· Bengaluru1d agoAre you checking if the problem is foundational? Often, kids struggle in higher grades because their concepts from 3rd or 4th grade are shaky. I suggest you sit with them for one week and see exactly which topic trips them up before blaming the tutor.
