Hi everyone, just wanted to share that you can also use Google to search for tuition options in our area. It might be helpful for those of you currently looking for extra classes for your kids.

Adding to this, check local Facebook community groups as well. Often, retired teachers in our society post their availability there, and you can get honest feedback from other parents in the same building.

I have been trying to find a math tutor for my son for weeks. Google search shows many results, but do you know anyone personally who teaches ICSE syllabus? I prefer home visits rather than these coaching centers.

Very helpful suggestion. I suggest you try checking the UrbanPro app too, as they provide verified profiles. It helped me find a teacher for my daughter’s Hindi lessons last year.

Thanks for the tip! Actually, I have found that Google reviews can be a bit misleading sometimes. It is better to check with the neighbors or watch for the groups of kids walking into a specific house in the evening; that is usually the sign of a good teacher.

Good idea, but please be careful. My daughter went to one 'highly rated' tutor from the web and the batch size was 20 kids in a small room. It was impossible for her to get any individual attention.
