· Bengaluru2d agoWe opted for a regular school and I don't regret it. The dummy route puts immense pressure on the child to self-study, and not every 16-year-old has the discipline for that. My son needs the routine of a classroom to stay on track.

· Bengaluru1d agoMy son is in 11th grade at Aakash and yes, they definitely have 'tie-up' schools. Honestly, it saved him two hours of travel daily, so he uses that time for extra modules. Just make sure the school is reliable for practicals, as some schools suddenly demand presence during board months.

· Bengaluru21h agoIs this legal now? I was worried about the board attendance requirements. Does the school give internal marks easily?

· Bengaluru20h agoPlease be careful. My daughter did a dummy school program two years ago and while she got into a good college, she really missed out on the social life and extracurriculars of a normal school. If your child is very focused on competitive exams, it works, but it can be quite lonely for them.

· Bengaluru18h agoAakash will definitely give you a list of their partner schools if you ask the center manager directly. We took one such option last year; it’s basically a nominal fee for enrollment and you only go for labs and final exams. It’s a very common practice these days, don't overthink it.
