Hi everyone, I am looking for school recommendations in East Bangalore. We are considering options like Neev, Indus, Oakridge, Greenwood, TISB, and United World, but there are so many choices. For those of you living in this area, which schools would you recommend and why? Any insights on the admission process or quality of education at these campuses would be really helpful.

Honestly, every parent has a different priority. For us, Indus worked best because of their value system, but you need to check if the fee structure fits your long-term planning since it keeps increasing every year. Have you decided if you want CBSE or IB board? That should be your first filter.

Hi, my son has been at Greenwood High for three years now. It’s definitely on the more academic-heavy side, so if your child enjoys a structured environment, go for it. Just a heads up, the commute from Whitefield can be a nightmare during peak hours, so do consider the transport time!

We looked at all of these last year and finally chose Neev. We really loved their focus on reading and the inquiry-based curriculum, which felt more balanced than the other big campuses. You should definitely visit their campus in person before deciding, the atmosphere is quite different once you walk in.

Oakridge is a solid middle ground, in my opinion. It’s not as intimidating as the top-tier international schools but offers a great IB program with decent exposure. Our daughter is in Grade 4 there and she’s quite happy with the extracurriculars.

Is TISB even taking applications right now? I heard their waitlist is massive. My neighbor's daughter is there and they love the sports facilities, but it’s quite far out from the main East Bangalore residential hubs.
