· Bengaluru2d agoHave you checked if there are other, more recognized bodies? We looked into it for my daughter's painting, but realized that unless it’s a world record or a Guinness entry, these private Indian record books don’t really hold much value in the long run. I suggest you save that money and invest it in a professional coaching class for her hobby instead.

· Bengaluru1d agoHonestly, don't waste your hard-earned money on this. I paid for it back in 2021 thinking it would help with school admissions, but the management didn't even blink an eye at the certificate. It’s just a glorified souvenir, and frankly, 14k is way too much for a piece of paper that collects dust on the shelf.

· Bengaluru8h agoMy son did it last year for cubing, and while he was very excited to get the medal, I agree that the process feels like a commercial racket. If your daughter is genuinely talented at something, try national-level competitions instead; they carry much more weight for her profile and don't cost a fortune.

· Bengaluru2h agoI was in your shoes last year and decided to skip it. I spoke to our school counselor, and she mentioned that these 'records' don't add any advantage for board marks or competitive exams. Better to build a proper portfolio with her volunteering work or projects that actually show her skill progression over time.
