· Bengaluru2d agoIt's very frustrating indeed. The school management keeps changing their internal assessment criteria mid-session, citing CBSE guidelines, which makes it impossible for us to track the progress. Definitely considering a change for next academic year.

· Bengaluru1d agoI don't think switching is the answer. Every board has its own issues, and CBSE is still the most widely recognized if you plan to stay in India for college. My son is in class 10 and we are just sticking to the NCERT books for now; consistency is key, I feel.

· Bengaluru1d agoWe made the switch to an IB school last year and it was the best decision for us. Yes, it’s expensive, but the way they teach is so much more practical than the rote-learning approach CBSE still relies on. I suggest you try attending an orientation session at an IB school before you commit to anything.

· Bengaluru21h agoDoes anyone have experience with the ICSE board? I've heard the syllabus is more vast but better structured compared to the recent CBSE mess. I am tired of buying new books every six months because the curriculum keeps getting 'revised'.

· Bengaluru18h agoHonestly, I feel the same. My daughter is in grade 9 and the sudden shift to more competency-based questions has left the teachers struggling too. We are seriously thinking of moving her to IGCSE next year because the constant uncertainty with CBSE updates is affecting the kids' focus and mental peace.
