Hi, my daughter is in Grade 9 there. You are right, Kannada is offered as a second language but it is more of a conversational module rather than a full-fledged IGCSE board exam subject. Exactly what I was wondering too. Following this thread! Also, if they aren't doing formal exams, do they at least give a certificate of completion? It would be good for the kids to have something on record if we move to a different board later.

We moved from a CBSE school to Ekya and were also confused by this. It’s basically internal assessment based on class participation and simple projects. It’s not stressful at all, which is a relief for the kids since the IGCSE workload is already quite high!
