· Bengaluru2d agoMy daughter took classes from a senior LM teacher last year and the improvement in her essay writing was remarkable. They are very particular about grammar and vocabulary, which is exactly what the board exams demand. I suggest you try to find someone who is currently teaching the ICSE batch, as they are most updated with the latest marking schemes.

· Bengaluru2d agoI have seen that many parents in our circle swear by them, but don't ignore the retired teachers. They often have more time to give individual attention compared to the ones who are still full-time in school. My neighbor’s daughter studied under a retired HOD and her grasp of Shakespeare is now better than mine!

· Bengaluru1d agoBe a little careful, dear. While they are definitely excellent with language, some of these teachers are extremely strict and follow a very 'old school' teaching style which might not suit every child's temperament. My son felt a bit pressured, so maybe do a trial class first?

· Bengaluru1d agoDoes anyone have a contact for a teacher who does online sessions? My niece is in a different city but we really want her to get that La Martiniere standard of English tutoring. Would appreciate a DM if you know someone reliable!

· Bengaluru11h agoHonestly, they are the gold standard for English in Kolkata. Just make sure to ask them about their experience with the specific grade your child is in. It makes a huge difference.
