· Bengaluru3d agoMy son had to switch schools last year and we faced the exact same issue. My husband just went to the office and spoke to the Administrator directly, and it was processed the next day. Sometimes a face-to-face meeting works much better than sending emails.

· Bengaluru2d agoVery frustrating! Did you check if there are any pending library books or sports dues? Sometimes it’s just a clerical error in their system, but they won't tell you unless you ask specifically about the 'no dues certificate'.

· Bengaluru2d agoThis is very common when a school changes management. They try to squeeze out one extra term of fees. I faced this last year; just write a formal email to the Principal citing the CBSE bylaws about TC issuance. Usually, once you mention the board guidelines, they stop playing games.

· Bengaluru2d agoIs your child in 10th or 12th grade? If so, the school often holds the TC until the board results are declared to ensure full payment. If not, check your parent handbook for the withdrawal notice period. Usually, it's 3 months or you pay the fees in lieu of notice.

· Bengaluru1d agoI have seen this happen frequently. Try visiting the accounts office in person rather than calling. Sometimes, they just need to see that you are firm and ready to escalate to the District Education Officer if they continue to delay it unnecessarily.
