Hi everyone, I am looking for advice on where to stay nearby. Aside from Bellandur, what are the best residential areas to consider? I am looking into places like Yemlur, Iblur, HSR, Sarjapur, Koramangala, and even Whitefield. Which of these would you recommend for a family, and how is the daily commute to the school from these locations?

I would strongly suggest you skip Whitefield for this school. The commute will absolutely drain your child; my niece used to travel from there and she was always exhausted by the time she reached home. If you want a good community feel, Koramangala is excellent, but rent is quite steep these days.

Hi, welcome to the group! We stay in HSR Layout and my daughter has been attending this school for three years now. Honestly, the commute is very manageable if you leave by 7:15 AM, but the evening traffic on the Sarjapur road stretch can be a nightmare. If you want a peaceful neighborhood with better parks, HSR is definitely the best bet among your options.

Koramangala is great if you want cafes and parks, but don't ignore the interior parts of Sarjapur Road if you want bigger apartments within a budget. Just make sure the society has a school bus stop, otherwise you will end up spending two hours daily in pick-up and drop-off queues.

Has anyone considered the traffic situation around Yemlur during the monsoon? I have heard it gets quite waterlogged. My family lives in Sarjapur, and while the distance looks okay on maps, the construction work makes it very unpredictable for the school bus timings.

We moved to Iblur last year specifically for the school proximity and it has been a game-changer for us. The drive is barely 15 minutes, which gives my son so much extra time for his sports coaching in the evenings. Definitely check out the gated societies near the lake area.
