· Bengaluru1d agoWe have always preferred Arihant for Math practice. Their chapter-wise solutions are quite detailed compared to other publications. However, I have seen some errors in their older editions, so just ask your child to double-check the calculations with their school teacher if something looks fishy.

· Bengaluru22h agoHonestly, I find these guides a bit too overwhelming for younger kids. My son is in 7th grade and we stick strictly to the school-prescribed textbooks and extra worksheets from his tutor. Does anyone know if these guides are really necessary before Class 9?

· Bengaluru20h agoYes, Oswal is definitely the gold standard for board exams. My daughter used their 'Question Bank' series for Class 10 last year and it really helped her understand the paper pattern. Just make sure your child focuses on NCERT first before jumping into these guides, otherwise they might get confused with the extra material.

· Bengaluru9h agoTotally agree with you, Oswal has been a lifesaver for our school curriculum. It gives the kids a lot of confidence before the unit tests. Has anyone tried their new digital app version yet, or is the physical book still better?

· Bengaluru1h agoOswal is great for science subjects because of the clear diagrams, but for English and Hindi, I would suggest you try the 'Evergreen' publications instead. They have better explanations for the literature chapters. My son has been using that combination for two years now with good results.
