Two is definitely on the lower side. In our previous school, we used to have one every quarter, which was much better for tracking progress. I suggest you raise this with the class teacher during the next PTM so they know parents want more regular updates.

Actually, for the primary years, I think two is manageable since we get regular feedback through the app. Don't worry too much, if you have specific concerns, just drop an email to the subject teacher directly; they are usually quite responsive.
