Any feedback on Gear Innovative International School?

Hi! My daughter is in Grade 4 at Gear. Academically, they are quite strong and focus a lot on conceptual clarity rather than just rote learning. However, do keep in mind that the campus is quite spread out and the commute can be tiring if you don't live in the immediate vicinity.

I suggest you try to visit during a working day rather than an open house. You get a much better feel for how the teachers interact with the kids when they aren't 'on display' for parents.

We moved my son out of Gear last year. While the infrastructure is top-notch, we felt the management became a bit too focused on extracurriculars at the cost of core subjects. It really depends on what your priorities are for your child's growth.

Gear is excellent if your child is into sports and robotics. My niece is currently there and she absolutely loves the lab facilities. The pressure is moderate compared to some of the other 'high-pressure' schools in the area.

Has anyone else noticed the frequent changes in faculty recently? We are considering them for Grade 1, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about staff turnover affecting the class environment.
