· Bengaluru2d agoVery important question! In my experience, the balance is almost impossible in regular PU. Have you considered Open Schooling or NIOS? It gives them so much more flexibility for travel and training camps.

· Bengaluru21h agoIs your child planning to pursue sports professionally or just as an extracurricular? If it is serious, please skip the big names in PU, they are just coaching factories and won't let your child breathe. Look for smaller, supportive institutions.

· Bengaluru17h agoHi, my son is in his first year of PU and honestly, it gets very hectic. If your child is aiming for national level, please look for colleges that have a 'sports quota' or are known to be lenient with attendance, otherwise, the practicals and internals will pull his grades down significantly.

· Bengaluru8h agoMany parents here made the mistake of pushing for top-ranked PU colleges, only to realize the kid gets no time to even stretch, let alone train. Check if the college has a dedicated sports coordinator who can help with leave applications during tournaments.
